Best Sign Ever!
So, thanks to Lisa, I found out about a sign competition Jason Mraz's website was running. The brief was you had to create a sign referencing Jason Mraz (the bigger the better) and submit a photo of yourself holding the sign in the most public place possible. I got the lovely Emma to help me out the weekend she was staying with me, but we didn't get a chance to go down to the Opera House on the Sunday to take the photo that weekend because I was sick with the flu (AGAIN!)
The deadline was on a Tuesday, so I bribed a co-worker with $20 to go down to the Opera House with me on our lunch break and take the photo of me holding the sign.
It was extremely windy and the sign kept trying to fly away and the letters nearly flew off. The best part was that all these families with young children kept coming over to have a look at my sign. I'm sure lots of little kids were asking, "Mummy, what's Mrazturbation?" Heh! Well, I think it's good that kids are starting to learn about this stuff so young. ;-)
It was worth the $20 bribe, as the photo was submitted in time and the Mrazturbation sign won! WOO-HOO! It was one of eight signs to win an autographed DVD from my future hubby. I was very pleased to say the least!
And I will be seeing my future husband in concert, this coming Wednesday night. CAN'T WAIT!!! :-D
